Well a big way to make sure you are safe is to drink all of the water required by the diet. When losing so much weight so quickly you have to make sure you are hydrated. So the water requirement is NOT a suggestion but actually a requirement. It will also help you flush all the toxins that have been building up in your body for a long time, helping you to lose even more weight.
Another way is to make sure you are still taking your medications unless a doctor has specifically told you to stop taking them. I know Dr. Simeons and even Kevin Trudeau say that medications should be stopped but if you are doing the diet by yourself without doctor supervision then make sure to stay on your medication. After you’ve lost the weight you can go back to your doctor for a checkup and most prescriptions for weight loss, blood pressure and even thyroid issues will probably not be needed anymore. This is common but always check with your doctor first.
The last way is to make sure you are getting every meal and following the directions exactly. I know the HCG stops the hunger a lot but you have to be getting all those calories in. This is not the time to starve your body, it’s about getting the right kind of food in you to help reset your metabolism.
It’s also advisable to keep a detailed food journal to make sure you are getting all that food in but not anything extra. It’s also fun to look back on your journey and see your weight drop everyday and know EXACTLY what food you ate and what food you didn’t eat to accomplish that.
