Great job Natalie. And no offense but I would not alter the original diet plan. The fact that he said it's a 500 calorie diet tells me he doesn't know all the details of the plan. Go on the original plan and you'll do much better than you even did. It's not about calories, but the quality of food. But great job and thank you so much for sharing! Just goes to show there is hope for EVERYONE.

I'm a 27 years old Female. 13 months ago i had a baby, 3 months later i was diagnosed with a Hypoactive Thyroid (the slow one that makes you gain weight). 5 months being treated for it, i was dieting excessively, walking 5 k everyday, adn the weight was creeping on slowly. I needed to lose about 20-25 pounds and i could not see it happening with all the effort i was doing. I consulted my internal medicine doctor, who was experimenting with HCG diet with some patients, and i joined the experiment. Unlike the normal HCG diet that requries 500 calories only a day, my doctor put me on 1100 calories diet and i was using the injections. My doctor indicated i wont be losing weight as fast as other would be because of my thyroid condition. But still i was losing 0.5-1 pound a day, and I stopped working out during that time and i was eating more than i did before. at the end of the 50 days regiment, i was down 20 pounds, my thyroid improved so i'm taking less synthetic hormones and now 6 months later i havent gained anything because it taught me to eat wisely... I don't know what the deal with this diet, but it worked for me when i desperately needed it

Yes, you can, but since you have so little to lose just remember you will lose a bit slower than other people who have more to lose. So plan for a 26 day round, and if you hit your goal early then you can go to maintenance after doing 3 days of the diet without HCG.

Sounds like it isn't the drops at all, sounds like it's something else since you are off of them. Try and look at other things that it might be. Go get a checkup. But great job on the 32 pounds!

No, it won't be an extremely fast drop. You are eating healthy and that will improve your health and lower your high blood pressure, that's a great thing! Just get a checkup every couple weeks and see if they can lower your blood pressure meds.

I am 52 year old female who is currently on two medications for high blood pressure. Will this diet cause me to have a significant and extremely fast drop in my blood pressure? I don't want to compromise my health.

I took the drops for 23 days but had to stop as I went to the hospital with an unrelated bladder infection. I had lost 32 pounds over the month and was thrilled. One problem. Ever since I started the drops my stomach has been upset. I was sick day and night for all nine months when I was caring my son. I have been off over 3 weeks but am still nauseous most of the day. Will this ever stop?

You shouldn't be on any restrictive diet during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. So wait until you are done breastfeeding then think about starting.
