Setting Realistic Expectations On The HCG Diet

The HCG diet is a great way to lose a lot of weight very quickly. This is appealing to a lot of people for obvious reasons but the expectations of some dieters can set them up for failure.

I’ve seen people lose 15 pounds the first week and some lose over 10 pounds EVERY week they are on the diet.

It’s pretty incredible and totally possible while on this diet.

But, I don’t like to tell people the big numbers before they start, or if I did I always add a disclaimer to it like “everyone is different and you’ll just have to see how much you are capable of losing”.

The reason I say this is that when people see those big weight loss numbers before starting the HCG diet they sometimes set their expectations too high and then get disappointed even when they are doing great.

For example I just got an email from one lady who was saying that she didn’t know what was wrong and didn’t know why she wasn’t losing very much weight. When I asked her how much she had lost in her first 11 days she said 10.2 pounds!

That’s almost 1 whole pound everyday. That’s fantastic and I challenge you to find another method that will allow you to lose 1 pound a day with no exercising 3 times a day.

The problem with her was she saw the really big numbers that some had put up and she was getting down on herself for not doing as well as the others.

But there are so many factors to how you will lose weight.

For example, men lose the most and will easily lose more than just about any woman.

Also age plays a factor as well as how much you have to lose. If you are young and have 100 pounds to lose, you’re going to lose a lot more than a 60 year old woman who only wants to lose 20.

So while it is nice to see those big numbers and be inspired don’t get too hung up on them and remember that your body is different.

You’ll still lose the weight but it might be at a rate that is different than others.

And you should be happy and congratulating yourself for every pound you lose because that’s what keeps you going.

And you should be proud because you are losing the weight and getting yourself healthy at the same time.

So make sure you set yourself realistic expectations while on the diet, and who knows, you might just blow those expectations out of the water with your results!

On the HCG diet I was told to take 10 drops under the tongue not 15. Which is it? Thanks for your website!!

Well the product I recommend is 15 drops, 3 times a day. I’m unsure of what you are using so I can’t really comment on that.
